DSC NEO 2016/2032/2064/2128 – Manage user codes

Your keypad may look like this: 

Please Note that user code 01 is your master code

For a PC 2016 you have 1-48 user slots

For a PC 2032 you have 1-72 user slots

For a PC 2064/2128 you have 1-95 user slots

 Add an Access Code:

·         

  1. Press the * button followed by 5
    OR
    press * and use the scroll keys to navigate to Access Codes and press *.
  2. Enter your system’s master code (this is the main access code usually given to the main contact)
  3. Select the two digit users code to program (e.g., for user # 2, enter 0 2)
    OR
    scroll through the list of users and press *. On an LED keypad the user number will begin flashing.
  4. Using the number keys, enter the four-digit Access Code (ie: 1, 2, 3, 4)
  5. After entering a new code you will be automatically returned to the previous menu.
  6. When programming is complete, you can enter another 2 digit code to program another code, or Press# to exit

Remove an Access Code:

  1. Press the * button followed by 5
  2. Enter your system’s master code (this is the main access code usually given to the main contact)
  3. Select the two digit users code to program (the system has space for 32 users, so for user # 2, enter 0, 2)
    OR
    scroll through the list of users and press *. On an LED keypad the user number will begin flashing.
  4. With the user selected press *. This will delete the code.
  5. Press # to exit Programming

·         You’re done!

We recommend:

1) You keep a record of which people are assigned to each 2-Digit User Slot

2) You do not use the Master Code as an access code; provide each user their own separate access code
